| Mohanlal Sukhadia University is a state university of the |

| Govt. of Rajasthan established as per UGC Act. The |
| university is graded as B++ by NACC for its high teaching |
| standards, excellent infrastructure and a very good |
| governance. The university is located in the beautiful city |
| of Udaipur known as "City of Lakes and Fountains". MLSU |
| is a teaching cum affiliating university having four constituent colleges, 27 PG departments |
| and 61 affiliated colleges in a number of districts. |

| MLSU was established in 1964 with its name "University of Udaipur". As a mark of respect |
| in the memory of Late Shri Mohan Lal Sukhadia, the architect of modern Rajasthan, the |
| university was renamed as "Mohanlal Sukhadia University" in 1984. The university has |
| grown phenomenally since its inception. |
