Mohanlal Sukhadia University central library |

has more than 75000 books including about |
12000 books on Management and related |
subjects. Each year, about 400 books are |
added to the library. The department has |
developed an exclusive library for MIB |
students. |

| Computer and Internet facility |
|
 |
The department has its own full-fledged |
| computer center. The center is further being |
| modernized and expanded furhter in |
| hardware and software. The department is |
| having its own leased line of 64 kbps to |
| expose the students with global networking |
| and development. |

|
| Class Rooms |
 |
| Aided by state of the art equipment, focused |
| emphasis is given towards building a strong |
| foundation. Towards this end, classroom |
| inputs incorporate diverse teaching |
| techniques such as active discussions, |
| role-plays, impromptu speeches, ad-lib |
| presentations etc., that provide practical |
| orientation to what is taught. |

| Placement and advisory services |
|

The faculty endeavours to help outgoing MIB |
| students in securing suitable employment in |
| various organizations in the private and |
| public sectors. Reputated organizations are |
| invited to conduct campus intervies. The |
| faculty has developed good liasion with the |
| leading companies both for summer |
| internship and final placement. |

|
| Port and Custom House visits |
 |
| The department may also conduct giant port |
| visits and custom house visits within the |
| country to give the exposure to the students |
| about customs and other export formalities. |
| The deptt. also conducted a visit at INLAND |
| CONTAINER DEPOT (ICD), Ahmedabad. |
| |
| Hostel |
| Students may also be considered for |
| admission to the university hostel, as per |
|
| the rules. Separate girls hostel facility is |
|
| also available. |
|
|
|
| Foreign Tour visits |
|
 |
The department may also conduct foreign |
| industrial tour to give international exposure |
| on contributory basis. The department |
| conducted foreign tour at Bangkok, Pataya, |
| Phuket in March '09. The students visited |
| INDO-THAI SYNTHETICS CO. LTD., sister |
| concern of Aditya Birla Group. The industry |
| produces rayon which is exported to Malaysia, |
| Australia and many other countries. |
