The MIB Programme

Eligibility
A candidate seeking admission to this programme shall have passed a Bachelor's Degree
Examination with at least 48% of the marks in any discipline from a recognized university/
institute. SC/ST candidates are eligible for appearing in the entrance test even if they
have obtained 45% marks.
Candidates who have appeared for their final year exams of Bachelor's Degree may also
appear in the entrance test, but they will have to submit their marksheet by a specified
date to be announced by the Director before finalisation of the admission.

Admission Procedure
All the seats, except the seats reserved for category (b) are filled up in order of merit
prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in the entrance test. The University
(from which the candidate has passed the qualifying examination) and the degree, both,
must be recognized by the UGC and MLSU, Udaipur. The form for the entrance test can be
obtained from the office of Course Director, MIB Programme, Department of Banking and
Business Economics, University College of Commerce and Management Studies (UCCMS),
Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, either personally or through post on payment as
under.
Rs 600/- (at the counter), Rs 650/- (through Registered post). It includes fee of entrance

The Entrance Test comprises of the following:
a) Written Examination-- Prospective candidates are required to appear at written exam
which tests their proficiency in English language, mental aptitude and comprehension,
general knowledge, current affairs. and basic mathematical ability. The entrance exam
will carry 100 objective type questions and will be of 90 minutes duration. The entrance
candidates are required to report at allotted centre half an hour before the entrance test
i.e., 9.00 a.m.
b) Group Discussion-- The second phase of selection will involve candidate's participation
in group discussion before a selection committee to be constituted by the Course Director.
The topic for group discussion will be of general interest and the candidate shall be
evaluated for his communication skill, conceptual clarity, augmentive style, mental
flexibility and intellectual awareness. Group Discussion carries 25 marks.
c) Personal Interview-- PI is meant to probe into a candidate's general understanding
and knowledge of his area of study. PI also carries 25 marks. The result of the entrance
test will be declared in the newspaper and selected candidate will be intimated individually.
Enquiries about the result will not be entertained. The GD & PI will be held after written
test. The time slot will be notified on the day of examination.

Fee Schedule
Fee is payable in DD favoring "The Course Director MIB, Udaipur".
Following is the break up of the fees to be paid by the candidates every year. It must be
noted that this does not include the examination fee, which is announced and charged by
the university separately.
MIB Part I
a) Normal Fee category - Rs. 15,000/- per year + Rs. 3000/- (Management forum fee)
b) Double the Normal fee category - Rs. 30,000/- per year + Rs. 3000/- (Management
Forum fee)
c) For foreign students, NRIs & seats reserved for business houses, payment seats -
    Rs. 67,000/- per year + Rs. 3000/- (Management forum fee)
MIB Part II
Educational Tour fee Rs. 5,000/- in each category in addition to the fee payable.

Submission of vital documents
A student must take care to submit attested copies of the following important documents
along with his/her application:-
1. Certificate to prove date of birth.
2. Sr. Secondary examination mark-sheet.
3. Mark-sheet of the bachelor degree.
4. Certificate of being a SC/ST/Backward class candidate.
5. Valid Passport. If a candidate does not possess a valid passport then the admission will
    be provisional. It will be confirmed only when the candidate has a valid passport.
6. Documents in support of any other academic attainments mentioned in the application.

The PGDIB Programme
Duration - 1 year

Nomenclature - Post Graduate Diploma in International Business
 
Eligibility
Candidates with a minimum of 45% marks in any discipline at graduation (10+2+3) level
(passing marks in case of SC/ST candidates) and candidates in job are also eligible to
apply if having a bachelor degree.
 
Admission Procedure
All the seats will be filled in order of merit prepared on the basis of performance of the
candidate in the written test, GD and PI. Written test will carry 100 marks and the
questions will be set to test the candidate's proficiency in english language, general
knowledge and current affairs. Candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for
GD and PI. GD and PI will carry 25 marks each.

Form for entrance test
The form for written test can be obtained personally on payment of Rs. 600 in cash or if by
post Rs. 650 DD, from the office of the Course Director, DIB Programme, Department of
Banking and Business Economics, University College of Commerce and Management
Studies (UCCMS), Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. This includes the entrance test

Fee Schedule
Total fee chargeable for the above diploma is Rs. 6530/- which includes college and
university fee as per rules. Students have to deposit management forum fee Rs. 1500/-
also. The candidates will have to deposit the total fee at the time of admission.
